How I made this project

Eva bought a fixer-upper and has been working on it for a while. She tackles it room by room. For the living room, she was looking for a TV cabinet that provides enough storage space, is simplistic, and doesn't consist of too many separate elements. Together with her partner, they brainstormed and came up with the idea of having the cabinet run in a U-shape around all the walls of the room, with the TV cabinet merging with the wainscot behind the couch. What a cool idea! They completely designed the project themselves and worked it out in SketchUp, created a cutting list, had all the necessary boards cut to size in MDF, and built the cabinet themselves. Then they finished it with chalk paint in the same color as the wall, creating a beautiful unity. And it turned out so beautifully! Want to know more?
