Upon request from the customer, I crafted a custom-made floating bookcase. It needed to be painted in high gloss in the same color as the wall.

How I made this project

Firstly, I created drawings from which the customer made their selection. Then, I made a cutting list and ordered the materials. After assembling everything in the workshop, I disassembled it all. Firstly, I primed the edges twice with special MDF primer. Then, I painted the entire piece twice in high gloss paint in the same color as the wall where the bookcase was to be hung, using pins typically used to hang floating bookshelves. On-site, I assembled everything and hung the bookcase in all its glory. The result was a highly satisfied customer with a genuine Jan-Willem creation.
