Description of Tessa

A beautiful space with lots of light; our attic. The ideal place for an office spanning the entire width of our dormer window. Where there is room for 2 people to work, study or for my great hobby: sewing! And so we ended up with TOSIZE.ie for a beautiful pine wood panel with a size of 280x68 cm. To create some storage space and to lean the wooden top on, we opted for 2 IKEA drawer units. A super simple project with a beautiful end result! Our attic is now my favorite place in the house.

How I made this project

We looked for inspiration on Pinterest beforehand. We saw great examples there. We then measured our dormer window to determine how large the desktop needed to be. We wanted a thick wooden top of 40 mm, but affordable. And so we ended up with TOSIZE.ie. The top could be made to measure to the nearest mm, so it fits perfectly between the dormer window. Once the pinewood panel was ordered, the drawer units from IKEA could be selected. We put this together and then placed the wooden top on top.
