Just finished facade panel under the kitchen window. Sleek red lacquered in RAL 2002. Not an easy color on an uneven surface. Waterproof Okoumé with a smooth layer of primer turned out to be a Top solution loss

DIY: facade panel

The old waterproof (not) glued plywood sheet from the DIY store was carefully removed and replaced by perfectly cut okoume sheet. The old record had only lasted five years. The new plate was provided with a neat layer of primer on both sides. Tight painting with highly critical red high-gloss RAL 2002 and mounting with recessed stainless steel screws was pure enjoyment ?. The result is impressive! Tight in the paint, all-round sealant, fresh look and ... weather resistant!
