When designing the cabinet, spatiality and light were the most important aspects for the dark living room. The two parts create a playful appearance, as well as the various open and closed sections. A cabinet with storage space and space to display the most beautiful photos or glasses.

How I made this project

My daughter wanted a cabinet in her living room. After visiting several stores, we couldn't find a model she liked. So, we decided to design and make the cabinet ourselves. After some drawings, we had the desired model. Then, we ordered the wood through TOSIZE.ie and it was delivered perfectly cut to size. We applied edge banding to the sides and assembled the cabinet using dowels; the doors were hung with a pressure mechanism. The result was satisfactory. The cabinet is made in such a way that you can't see any screws!
