Homemade TV cabinet from MDF, by Ramon

I made a hanging TV cabinet from different sizes of MDF which were cut to size by TOSIZE.co.uk piece by piece. The result is a sleek TV cabinet

Custom floating TV unit

First I made a drawing so that I knew exactly which sizes I needed. I have used various thicknesses of blank mdf. The thickness used for the top, bottom and sides is 38mm blank mdf. The center consoles and rear wall are made of 18mm MDF, the doors are made of 18mm MDF. The whole is glued and screwed. The doors are hung with semi-logging hinges which are self-closing. in black and to prevent falls I used a gas pressure spring.
