Description by Rob

There's nothing quite like cooking up a nice piece of meat (or vegetables) on the barbecue! I enjoy doing this in the summer, but also in the winter. But I always missed having a table to place my dishes on. That's why I started building this outdoor kitchen.

How I Made This Project

The frame is made of 68x68 pressure-treated garden posts. The kitchen is on wheels, so it can be moved around the garden. The outdoor kitchen has doors, so we can store some items in it (like the gas bottle). The countertop was cut to size by TOSIZE.ie and is made of 40mm water-resistant Okoumé plywood. Ultimately, I stained the countertop to protect it from the elements. The countertop was delivered perfectly and adequately protected so that it was not damaged during transport.
