Xander has created a unique tabletop for a coffee table using birch plywood. By using a saw, sander, and a lot of glue, he has created a unique pattern for his tabletop. How? Let's see!

Finishing the tabletop

Once the whole thing has dried well, the base of your tabletop is already done! You can already get a bit of an idea of what your coffee table will look like. Xander trimmed the edges straight, but if you like the relief, you can of course leave it that way. It is still very important to sand the tabletop well. This can be quite a task; Xander spent a few hours on it. Make sure the surface is nice and smooth and free of splinters. For safety, you can also chamfer the edges with the sander. Then all you have to do is varnish the tabletop, and voilà, your tabletop is ready! Now all you have to do is choose a nice set of legs 😉
