The project consisted of improving my IKEA PAX cupboard by adding custom doors. These new doors not only provide a fresh look, but also add a unique touch to the design of the cabinet. By choosing underlayment I achieved a modern and minimalist look that perfectly matched the overall style of my space, while keeping the budget very limited. This upgrade allowed me to personalize my closet and transform it into a functional and visually appealing storage solution tailored to my needs and preferences.

How I created this project

Installing custom doors for my IKEA PAX wardrobe was a simple process. First I carefully measured the cabinet openings. I then had plates of Underlayment Fins Vuren cut to size with a thickness of 18 mm. After attaching IKEA hinges to the doors, I aligned them with the cabinet frame and secured them securely. Finally, I made holes to serve as handles. The result? A personalized cabinet upgrade that looks great and fits perfectly.
