We wanted a new table. After a long search and consideration, we chose to make a dining room table from light oak ourselves. That is how we ended up at TOSIZE.co.uk.
Work description: how did you realize your project
I have decided to order a custom oak panel from TOSIZE.co.uk. I could have done this myself and also milled the bevels, but I opted for the convenience of having it done so that it would save me some work/time again. I did mill a reinforcement into the top myself by means of 2 x steel angles of 2.0 mm thick and 2.0 x 2.0 cm. I glued this together by applying 2 component epoxy and screwed it on. Then I checked the entire table and filled spots with woodfill light oak, including the grain in the short sides. Then the table sanded and pre-treated with woodprep. Then treated the table with oil.
Final size: What are the outer dimensions?
210,0 x 100,0 cm
