Polycarbonate is an enormously strong plastic material that is impact-resistant, shatter-proof and very strong. The panels have a clear structure. Polycarbonate, also called lexan, is 250 stronger than glass, in addition, the material is fire retardant and self-extinguishing. For this reason, it is often used as safety glass. These panels are resistant to weather conditions such as high temperatures and UV radiation and therefore do not discolour.
