Step by step guide

Preparation

I started by cutting the sides so they would fit perfectly under the sloping roof. When not in use, these stools slide into this otherwise unusable space and provide storage space. I used a jigsaw to cut the L-shaped side, which also serves as a footrest when the stool is in use.

Montage

I used wooden legs and glue to avoid exposed screws. A custom jig allowed me to align the holes with the corresponding pieces. Full-overlap hinges help achieve a uniform look on the front panels. I used magnetic plungers to avoid exposed hardware and achieve a simple wood look.
