In this DIY project, Gertjan shows how he made his older trailer look like new. For this purpose, he ordered custom-sawn concrete plex anti-slip online. That makes jobs a lot easier and you can start immediately.

Description by Gertjan

The plating of our trailer was very rotten, so we measured everything, ordered new custom plates, dismantled the old ones and installed and sealed the new plating.

h3>How I made this project

First measured all the plates, base plate and side walls, and ordered new ones in the correct size. The floor was 15 mm, replaced with 18 mm concrete plywood (I thought the total length of the trailer in combination with minimal support was too thin) and then cemented with MS polymer kit and carriage bolts (instead of screws). The walls were 12 mm white concrete plywood, this is also the case. ordered due to weight, these were also cemented with polymer kit and carriage bolts, all edges were sealed (inside and outside), after which the hinges and locks were reapplied.
