Summary
definition
A round table made of black painted and {{tosize_get_product_url_by_sku('OSB 3', 'OSB cirkels', 'category')|raw}} . All this mounted on an iron leg. Because of the maximum width of OSB (122mm), 4 half circles/circles of 18 mm OSB were ordered and glued together to form a sheet of 36 mm and a diameter of 1450 mm. The edges of the blade are chamfered 4 mm.
Work description: how did you realize your project
We glued 2 circles/semicircles together to form 1 circle. With the help of dowels in the end grain, we attached the 2 semicircles to each other and reinforced the construction extra. We were able to close the gap completely by means of tension straps. Then we did the same again and glued the whole to 1 thick sheet. A lot of wood glue was used in this and immediately ensured with tensioning straps and weight that there are no gaps between the plates at all. The whole well sanded, especially the edges of the OSB plate. Then painted black with a silk glass lacquer in several layers. Several layers of matte parquet lacquer have been applied over the black lacquer to make the table hard and resistant to damage. Which was then mounted flat on an iron leg that was purchased elsewhere.
Final size: What are the outer dimensions?
Round 1450 mm Thickness top 36 mm Height including leg approx. 76.0 cm.
