Description

A very solid shelving unit provided with at least such solid slabs of betonplex . The MDF boards that originally formed part of the shelving unit could not withstand the high humidity in the basement and had expanded and started to mold.

Customized shelving

First I simply measured the dimensions of the plateau where the plates had to be placed and then ordered them. Because they are sawn accurately to the millimeter, measurements can also be taken to the millimeter. And that really benefits the end result. Before using them, I provided the edges with 2 layers of parquet lacquer. The advantage of this is that it is a transparent lacquer, which, just like the betonplex itself, can withstand both moisture and intensive use.
