Wieke made a bed base with Plywood Birch. Smart, because birch plywood is extremely strong! This allows the base to be made from a single sheet. For finishing, she had the edges of the sheet rounded. Working with Plywood

In addition to being extremely strong, plywood is also very flat. Because multiple thin layers of wood veneer are used, it is much flatter than solid wood. The layers of Plywood Birch are some of the thinnest layers used for plywood. This makes the sheet very flat and gives it enormous bending strength. Additionally, plywood has a natural appearance due to the visible wood grain. However, this also means that it is important to treat the material well to keep the sheet beautiful and strong for as long as possible. For indoor use, a layer of lacquer is sufficient, while for outdoor use, it is recommended to use Okoumé plywood Waterproof.
