Description by Michael
I built a Bulli box for our California T6 camper from HPL coated multiplex panels. Color: granite. With a total of 3 drawers. The full extensions are heavy-duty drawers that can hold up to 80 kg. The box is firmly connected to the rail system and can be removed again without modifying the vehicle. The box has a total of three drawers, two drawers for 2 Euro boxes 60/40 and 30/40 each. The dimensions are 110 x 45 cm. At the very bottom there is a tool drawer measuring 90 x 45 cm. The drawers themselves are secured with a locking lock to prevent accidental opening.
How I made this project
I planned the Bullibox using a CAD program and determined the required dimensions. The body is made of HPL coated multiplex panels. I ordered the panels themselves as cut panels and only made the connections. The panels were connected using glued hardwood dowels, which were drilled precisely using a drilling template. The base plate and the body are connected with screws and fit onto the T6 rail system. The base plate is firmly screwed to the rail system. The box can therefore be installed in the vehicle as required. No vehicle conversion is necessary for this.
