In this DIY project, Peter shows how he made a kitchen unit for a camper. He used poplar plywood for this, which he had cut to size. When it was delivered to his home, he could get started right away! Read below how he tackled this project.

Description of Peter

Kitchen unit for a bus camper.

How I made this project

Kitchen block first drawn out and corresponding cutting drawing made. Ordered all flat sheet material from TOSIZE.ie Ordered quarter-round profiles R100mm (these can also be found on the internet) and cut them to length myself. Slanted holes were drilled with a template from the well-known Chinese webshop, as were the other parts (drawer rails, hob, etc.). Everything was screwed together with construction adhesive, filled and painted. Cabinet locking is achieved by means of: Solenoids prevent the drawers from flying open while driving and they lock automatically when sliding closed.

Dimensions of my DIY project

80.0 x 60.0 x 90.0 wxdxh [cm]
