We were looking for a practical kitchen unit for our Volkswagen T4 camper. Couldn't find anything that exactly matched our needs. Then just put something together yourself. The kitchen unit now fits exactly between the front seat and the table. It has everything we need during our camping weekends: making coffee, one-pot meal and brushing teeth.

Work description: how did you realize your project

Started by measuring the bus, getting inspiration on the internet, and then made a working drawing in SketchUp. Ordered the custom parts from Betonplex 18 mm. It was the first time I ordered from TOSIZE.com and everything was delivered quickly, well packaged, exactly to size and labeled. First the frame was screwed together. I first pre-drilled the screws. I bought worktop supports at the Hornbach so that I can fold the stove away, so we have more leg room while sleeping. Flap and door mounted with a piano hinge and can be closed with magnetic locks. Drilled a hole in the door as a handle, which saves space. I am very happy with the result, now enjoy the camper!
