A floating bed of pine, by Sophie

Description

A floating bed, which can be placed upright by means of bath things and fitted with a rachelwork of rafts on top. Because of this I have connected everything together so that it becomes a solid construction. I still had the slatted bases and as soon as the mattresses are delivered we can sleep on them.

How did you make the bed?

I divided the wood into 2 parts. The bottom part are bath things of 44 by 145 and above that a frame of rafts. I built these both separately and then linked them together. The slatted bases fit exactly on this. When the mattresses are delivered, I will probably provide the sides with a furniture panel. An LED strip around the bottom frame will also be added to create even more the illusion that the bed is floating.
