Description
While we only planned to replace the floor, our old kitchen really turned out to be finished. So I decided to replace it and make the worksheet myself. The choice fell on iroko because of its appearance and stable properties.
Work description: how did you realize your project
After the floor was leveled under the old kitchen, the new kitchen cabinets from Sweden 😉 mounted, but purchased without worktop and drawer fronts. The plan was to make them all myself. The TOSIZE.co.uk worksheet arrived exactly to size. I let it sit for a few days until I could see the sink. Then put the blade in the oil. Because it is already quite greasy on its own, I used uncooked linseed oil. It gets a nice deep shine, you don't smell anything and it takes no effort at all to apply a few times. Then where necessary degreased, the top and sink mounted. The drawer fronts were sawn from a furniture board and drilled holes measured and pre-drilled on the basis of a purchased front. Fit after painting (thanks to my wife) perfectly. Handles come from the hardware store. I made a nice matching cutting board from the piece of wood that I sawed out for the sink. I am very happy with the result.
Final size: What are the outer dimensions?
222, cm x 65,0 cm x 2,6 cm
