Plywood interior Polish pine: what is it?
Plywood interior Polish pine is a sheet with a tough, natural wood look. Plywood interior Polish pine has a white to yellowish colour. The knots are brown, fairly large and scattered in wreaths. Pinewood is a somewhat tougher type of wood, which makes it easier to machine. It is widely used for furniture, but also for shelves for maturing cheese, for example.
Plywood is made up of various veneer layers. These layers are glued crosswise on top of each other. This makes the sheet stable and one of the strongest and oldest sheet materials.
The direction of the wood grain
A wood grain can be seen on plywood. The wood grain pattern always runs in the longitudinal direction. When sawing the sheet, we maintain that the longitudinal dimension is also the longitudinal direction of the wood grain. So be careful when filling in the measurements, so that the flames of the wood grain all run in the right direction!
Quality grading with plywood
Plywood comes in different qualities. This does not mean that the sheet is more or less strong, it indicates the quality of the appearance of the sheet . The quality can be found in the product properties. Below is more information about the visual grading of plywood.

Available thicknesses of plywood interior Polish pine
Plywood can be ordered in different thicknesses. You can easily specify your desired thickness during the ordering process. This way you can be sure that the sheet material meets your requirements: both the size and thickness of the material. The following thicknesses are available: 10 mm.
Machining plywood interior Polish pine
Plywood is a sheet material that is easy to work with when you have right tools at your disposal. When milling and sawing the material, we recommend the use of very sharp tools. For drilling holes, we recommend a wood drill with centring tip. This sheet material can discolour over time, so always finish it with a (clear) lacquer, stain or varnish.
Lightly sand the material before use. The sheet edges may contain splinters, so pay extra attention to them. Finally, it is recommended to treat the sheet edges with an edge sealer, as these are very coarse.
Specific applications of plywood interior Polish pine
Due to the relatively good visual grading, underlayment Finnish pine is also suitable for furniture and other decorative applications. It is also extremely suitable for walls, floor coverings, frames, et cetera. For long-term enjoyment of the sheet material, only use the material indoors.
