Description of Helma

The washing machine, dryer and freezer are located on our landing. This was a bit of chaos in my opinion. Besides, we were now sitting on the couch folding laundry. With this conversion, the chaos is over and we can immediately fold the laundry as soon as it comes out of the dryer or clothes rack. The hose of the ventilation system was another obstacle that I had to take into account, so the box was placed loosely against it.

How I made this project

I already had an idea in my head. Put that on paper and carefully measured all the planks. Then I looked carefully at how I could place the order with as little residual wood as possible. After receiving the order, all panels were first painted. After assembly, the top was sanded and varnished again. This way I got a very smooth sheet on which the laundry can be folded easily. The top is minimally secured so that it can be easily dismantled if a device needs to be replaced.
