A unique custom bathroom furniture made by Alwin

You could certainly buy a bathroom vanity at a store. But making it yourself is more satisfying and, of course, much more fun! That's what Alwin did. He wanted to incorporate Moroccan washbasins into his bathroom vanity. So, he ordered sawn timber panel pine 18mm and made this very beautiful custom vanity.

Bathroom vanity with Moroccan washbasins and black faucets. The vanity is mounted with brackets from the hardware store. And a corner strip is attached under the vanity.

How I made this project

The planks are secured with dowels, wood glue, and corner brackets. Then everything is sanded well and stained. Because it's in the bathroom, we also applied varnish. To finish it off, everything is sealed with a similar color caulk. By the way, the basins are routed so they sit slightly recessed. Quite doable for the average DIYer! You'll need: a sander, a router, screwdrivers, and, most importantly, a lot of DIY fun.
