As a contrast to the rough brick wall, we created a sleek library corner from plywood. Due to the sleek appearance, it was crucial that the plywood was cut accurately and precisely. After a previous positive experience with another custom-made cabinet, we returned to TOSIZE.ie. The plywood looks great and was delivered on time, excellent service! The custom-made cushions complete the picture!

How I Made This Project

We stacked the compartments with varying widths on top of each other. The compartments are plates of 9mm thickness screwed together and glued together per layer. The seating bench is made of 18mm plywood and screwed together and to the underlying wall. The cabinet is secured at the top to the floor beams, eliminating the risk of tipping over. Safety is, of course, a priority! The end plate to the left of the corner could not be made in one piece, so we solved this by cutting the lower part to the plinth height. With the custom-made cushions, the picture is complete, and we enjoy a cozy reading corner in the living room.
