Practical kitchen extension: tailoring a bar table, by Tommy

Under our homemade wine rack on a wall of 1.20 meters wide, there was room to mount a bar top. To create some extra space, it has been extended and a corner cut into it. This creates a 'floating' part that creates extra storage space in the kitchen.

Make a custom bar table yourself

After receipt, immediately put the sheet on both sides, with a day in between, in whitewash oil (brand: Woood). The oil which we also used for our dining table. Sanded well and let it dry for an hour, then rubbed well and wiped off. After allowing it to dry for 24 hours, mount the top with 3 galvanized brackets (25.0x40.0 cm) with threaded bolts and stainless steel bar leg (110.0 cm) under the top. This is a precision work, so a spirit level is not a superfluous luxury. After assembly the whole finished with 2 bar stools. Cheers!
