Description

We have replaced the kitchen fronts in our chalet at a holiday park. (See photo 1 Old situation) For the kitchen fronts we had 18 mm Berken Multiplex to size.

Replace kitchen fronts

We measured the old fronts first. We have widened the width of the fronts by a few mm. Extend the top cupboards up to the ceiling. With the reason to create a sleek look. Made a drawing of the sizes and the kitchen (see photo 2) and given a number to each front. Then the sizes passed on to TOSIZE.co.uk. We have chosen berken Multiplex . We were advised in this by an employee of TOSIZE.co.uk. The fronts are lacquered 4 times. (See photo 3) To hang the fronts, we used the old fronts as a template to drill holes. Fronts hung and adjusted. Finally with the holes drilled for the groups.

The dimensions of the project

We used the old fronts for the sizes, but extended the width by a few mm. This to give a tighter look. (see photo 5) We have extended the height of the top cupboards up to the ceiling. (see photo 4) We made the fridge door with a top cupboard as 1 front. (See photo 6) All this with the aim of a sleek and calm appearance

How next?

This is a project for inspiration. Because our assortment has changed, (some of) the products are no longer available.
