We have created a bar for our kitchen island. Our island turned out to be quite small after placing it (new-build house), so we expanded it with an oak bar. This looks much more spacious!

DIY: Upgrade your kitchen island!

We first looked for ideas on the internet and then ended up at TOSIZE.co.uk. We saw many different and fun projects here! We had the wood cut to the millimeter through them. So that the wood would fall exactly over the island. We glued and sealed the oak wood to our kitchen island. We have treated the wood with skylt to maintain its natural color. The wood is now protected against influences from the kitchen.
